This equipment is designed to withstand the harsh environment around the casting and the hot rolling areas of steel mills.

All the equipment can be water cooled and the lenses can be air purged to keep them clean.

The three basic types of sensors are as follows.

Laser distance measurement which is done by means of triangulation as well as time of flight methods.

Light barriers are available up to distances of 1 kilometer.

Hot metal detectors can sense hot metal at temperatures from 250 deg C.
